History:
- Has lived in a orphanage for as long as he can remember
- Met his best friend Yu Kanda at age 9. They didn't get along well for a whole year (mostly on Kanda's part) until an incident that involved a massive fight that ended with Alma breaking his right arm
- At the age of 10 both were invited to Hogwarts; Alma ended up in Hufflepuff.
- At the age of 11 there was an incident in which Alma ended up getting hit by a curse and bitten by a vampire.
